Position Summary:

New York University’s Center on International Cooperation (CIC) over two decades has built a reputation for its work on the links between politics, security, justice, and sustainable development. Our core mission is to enhance international responses on the countries and issues most important to conflict prevention and recovery, through direct and regular engagement with multilateral institutions and the wider policy community.

 The Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies (co-founded and hosted by CIC) is a multi-stakeholder partnership that brings together UN member states, international organizations, civil societies, and the private sector to accelerate delivery if the SDG targets for peace, justice and inclusion.

 The Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies team is currently seeking a dedicated Program Administrator. The position will be working under the direction of the Pathfinders director and support the director´s and Pathfinders´ management team´s internal and external management of the program. The Program Administrator will manage the administrative operations for the Pathfinders' team. Facilitate outreach and prepare communications for Pathfinders crosscutting and advocacy program. Oversee all event logistics. Monitor program budgets, fundraising activities and create relevant reporting. Manage all Pathfinder team meetings, including background research and meeting notes.

Qualifications:

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:

3+ years relevant experience in managing administrative services/processes, budgets, and drafting meeting/speaker briefs or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with organizational and data management systems, i.e. Dropbox, Google Drive, and Salesforce.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to negotiate solutions to contain problems.
