TNTP is currently seeking a Support Analyst - Security for our Enterprise Systems team. This position is based in a home office anywhere in the U.S., and is available immediately. Occasional travel is required.

Enterprise Systems is a dynamic group of teams which provide services to over 400 TNTP staff working on more than 40 contract sites across the country and administers multiple enterprise-level software solutions, manages hardware and servers, implements security and provides HelpDesk support to the entire organization. Enterprise Systems is constantly building enhancements and new systems to support the evolving work of internal clients and address the business needs of a growing, virtually connected organization.   

 

What You’ll Do 

The Support Analyst – Security is responsible for technical and troubleshooting assistance related to Microsoft 365 tools.  The Support Analyst primarily performs general systems maintenance and administration tasks, responds to incident tickets from our virtual workforce, and provides triage on technical issues based on severity and business impact, including accounts provisioning, creation and archiving of SharePoint sites, and application of permissions policies. 


The role will also play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the NIST Security Standard. This individual is responsible for testing, documenting, evaluating, remediating, and improving IT controls for effectiveness and operational efficiency. This role will fulfill these duties by collaborating with internal and external audit teams, IT staff, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance project deliverables are met. Strong knowledge of governance frameworks is essential for this position. 

 

The ideal Support Analyst should be highly organized and should be an effective communicator, both with spoken and written word. The Analyst should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment yet be patient at explaining technical issues to end users. 

 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Provide Tier 2 and 3 support to Microsoft 365 applications 
  • Inform roadmap and maximization of the use of Microsoft 365 in alignment with knowledge management strategy, security strategy, data strategy and other organizational needs 
  • Manage subscription licenses to Microsoft 365 
  • Support system administration as needed across multiple platforms 
  • Coordinate security strategy across teams and platforms 
  • Track vendor and service provider compliance with security standards 
  • Manage the organization’s cybersecurity training program 
  • Manage endpoint security and assist evaluating evolving cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies  
  • Contribute to special projects

  • Build relationships. You’ll regularly partner with the IT Manager and broader Infrastructure team on Enterprise Systems. You have an ability to connect and build relationships with a diverse group of staff. Bilingual abilities are a plus.   

 

Qualifications  

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft 365/SharePoint administration and support including configuration 
  • 2 years of work experience in compliance and cybersecurity standards (preferred) 
  • Experience with Active Directory, AWS, Powershell and Azure 
  • Solid understanding of assessing and designing internal controls in an enterprise-level environment 
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills 
  • Dedication to high-quality customer service 
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously 
  • Excellent ability to communicate well, facilitate discussion, resolve problems, and understand the needs and desires of the end user

TNTP offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position with the potential for an annual performance-based bonus. The salary range for this position is $51,200 to $76,800. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and midpoint depending on experience and in alignment with internal equity.  We offer a comprehensive benefits plan, covering the majority of the employee premium for the base medical plan and subsidizing the majority of costs for a spouse/domestic partner and children. Other benefits include dental and vision plans, disability, life insurance, parenting benefits, flexible spending account options, generous vacation time, commuter benefits, referral bonuses, professional development, and a 403(b) plan with employer matching.
