The Conway School is an independent, not-for-profit graduate school awarding a Master of Science in Ecological Design. Our mission is to explore, develop, practice, and teach design of the land that is ecologically and socially sustainable. Primary Duties

  • Manage and communicate with prospective students (admissions leads): Check admissions leads spreadsheet and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (HubSpot) daily and follow up with leads via email and phone. Update spreadsheet and Hubspot with notes. Reply to inquiries, on the phone and by email. Coordinate visits to the Conway School campus. Meet with prospective students. Connect prospective students with alums, faculty, staff, and trustees. Review data from the previous few years and determine trends in how applicants engage with the school. HubSpot experience is preferred but training can be provided.
  • Facilitate the application process: Collect, review, and store application materials. Work with the Academic Director to schedule interviews. Communicate acceptance decisions. Connect applicants with staff for financial aid and registration.
  • Maintain regular communication with newly enrolled students and assist with student registration process: Email and phone enrolled students to keep them in the loop for the coming year and walk them through the registration process. Update and share various registration documents and coordinate materials submitted by enrolled students. 
  • Help recruit prospective students: Attend local conferences and staff Conway's table when time allows. Reach out to prospective students via LinkedIn and social media. Work with other staff and faculty to identify and reach out to other schools and organizations.

 Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (writing emails and internal reports, communicating over the phone, meeting face-to-face with colleagues, making presentations about the school).
  • Awareness of the ecological design and planning fields is preferred.
  • Marketing and/or communications experience a plus.
  • Tech savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Gmail/Google Docs). Strong preference for experience with CRM/HubSpot, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and Wordpress. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, manage a diverse workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to engage with a wide variety of people and organizations including prospective and current students.

Salary

$27,456 - $54,080$22 to $26 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities. A minimum of 24 hours per week (for core admissions tasks only) expanding up to 40 hours per week if additional responsibilities are included.
