Are you passionate about marketing and using your skills to help people living in poverty? If so, World Renew has an opportunity for you! World Renew, an agency of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA), has a full time opening for a Digital Marketing Associate. This position will be based in the Grand Rapids, Michigan office and will support the marketing team in acquiring leads through managing content, coordinating social media and email campaigns, and championing our peer-to-peer fundraising platform.

Responsibilities

1. Manage content for the website by updating material, monitoring for errors and adjusting page layouts

2. Manage email and social media calendars in order to coordinate digital touch points for different audiences in relation to direct mail campaigns

3. Build, refine, and maximize the communication initiatives, including email and social posts that target specific audiences

4. Act as email coordinator for all World Renew mass email strategies

5. Coordinate fundraising initiatives through our peer-to-peer platform 

6. Troubleshoot online giving issues and answer donor inquiries 

7. Create workflows to request, create, edit, publish, update, and retire digital content

8. Complete annual competitive content audits 

9. Participate in digital campaign planning and contribute to overall organizational goals

10. Use data to infer upon improvements and adjustments to campaigns

11. Work collaboratively with other teams (donor relations, church relations, volunteer programs, etc) in order to prioritize other team’s marketing needs

12. Serve as the go-to, day-to-day project coordinator for digital campaign initiatives

13. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. Able to respect and support the mission, vision and values of the CRCNA

5. Ability to maintain positive relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues and constituents

6. Extremely organized and skilled at working within multiple projects at once

7. Experience in Blackbaud nonprofit software, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager preferred

8. Experience in MailChimp, Wordpress, and Adobe Creative Suite are required; e-commerce platforms and marketing automation platforms preferred 

9. Familiarity with marketing as a revenue-driving funnel that plays a role in overall organizational goals

10. Willingness to learn, grow, develop and learn from failure


Education and/or Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or another related field, or 5+ years of related experience 


2. At least 1+ of experience in digital marketing required


3. Work experience in non-profit and/or international settings preferred
