Description

Join our growing Fundraising and Development Team! This is an excellent opportunity to gain nonprofit experience and become familiar with the environmental fundraising and philanthropic community in Oregon, or to contribute to your already-established experience and expertise on a part-time schedule. As our Gift Processing & Data Entry Specialist, you will work directly with our Director of Membership and will be responsible for implementing our donation management strategy.


Essential Functions

● Salesforce data entry and data monitoring

● Donation processing, receipting and acknowledgement

● Gift reporting and tracking

● Retrieval of donor and donation information from 3rd-party systems

● Donor/donation data and file management projects as needed or assigned

● Ongoing database and file quality assurance


Qualifications

● Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM (DonorPerfect, Raiser’s Edge, etc.)

● Experience processing donations and maintaining donor confidentiality

● Experience handling grants and other complex gifts

● Experience producing customized and detailed Excel reports

● Experience handling data inputs from and outputs to a variety of sources and people

● Able to manage large and complex file banks, spreadsheets, and databases

● Self-motivated and process-driven team player

● Analytic and thoughtful problem-solver, proactive problem-preventer

● Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail

● Able to rapidly integrate feedback and adapt to new systems

● Clear understanding of connections between skilled data management and nonprofit success

● Clear interest in contributing to an organizational culture of philanthropy while expanding your own interest in nonprofits, fundraising, Salesforce, and/or the Oregon land use system
