Description

Synopsis: La Clinca del Pueblo (LCDP), a Federally Qualified Health Center in Washington DC and Hyattsville is looking to hire an entry-level individual who is well organized, detailed oriented and with some accounting data entry experience. We have a growing accounting department and need assistance with reconciliations, invoices, deposits, allocations, prep for financial audit, and general support with other accounting procedures.


Qualifications:

·       Associates Degree in Accounting a must, BS preferred

·       Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred

·       Up to 1 year experience preferred

·       Intacct, and Paychex experience preferred

·       Microsoft Office proficient

·       Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

·       Manage all bank deposits

·       Reconcile bank statement monthly

·       Electronic credit processing and entry into Accounting software

·       Reviewing invoices from vendors

·       Distribute invoices to managers and directors for approval

·       Follow up with vendors for discrepancies

·       Enter Invoices into Accounting software

·       Assist with AP and AR reconciliations

·       Monitor monthly cash flow

·       Assist with annual budget

·       Assist with annual financial audit

·       Assist with federal reporting requirements

·       Assist with payroll allocations in accounting software

Level of Language Proficiency

·       Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
