Consumer & Market Research Associate | Contractor Role

Commonwealth is seeking a Contractor for a temporary 26-week contract to perform tasks including consumer and market research, and presentation and content development.

We are actively seeking a diverse pool of applicants for this contract and an individual with 1 to 3 years of experience who is passionate about the mission of Commonwealth. You have a track record of working independently and collaboratively to achieve goals and timelines, being flexible to address changing project needs, executing research projects, and crafting persuasive verbal and written communications for different audiences.

Tasks

• Draft communications that describes the work to promote the dissemination of Commonwealth’s innovations
• Support consumer and market research through identifying key research questions, drafting of surveys, desk research, in-depth interview guides and other research tools
• Support the analysis of this research by conducting statistical analyses and other analyses techniques
• Track and report on industry developments, across multiple industries, consumer research and public policy issues
• Draft agendas and create slide decks or other supporting materials for meetings with Commonwealth’s external partners
• Schedule, coordinate and participate in meetings with the Commonwealth team and external partners, including taking notes and preparing follow up communications
• Prepare and follow work plans to organize your work and to communicate with the Commonwealth team
• Collaborate with the Commonwealth team to keep the work on track

This is a remote based 1099 contractor position. Location is flexible but must be able to work on US EST business hours Monday through Friday. The contract will last an estimated 26 weeks commencing as soon as possible. The contractor will be paid a fixed rate of $4,800 per month for these services.
