Vermont Legal Aid seeks a full-time staff attorney in our Burlington office. The position will include domestic violence cases in Franklin County and work with our Medical/Legal Partnership in Burlington. Responsibilities include advocacy in a variety of forums on behalf of low-income and disadvantaged clients. Applicants must have excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated experience in public interest law, civil rights law, or legal services. Some in-state travel required; must have personal vehicle. Applicants must be admitted to practice in Vermont, eligible for admission on motion, or awaiting results of a bar exam recently taken.
Starting salary is $47,085 plus D.O.E. with excellent fringe benefits.
