Description

The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore is seeking an Event Planner to join the Marketing Team to work closely with development professionals to ensure all events reflect the intended vision and brand of The Associated. The Event Planner will successfully manage budgets for events, secure locations, be the primary contact for vendors, and handle all additional details needed to have effortless events.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing equipment orders, catering, and billing
  • Making arrangements for decorations and seating
  • Creating detailed timelines for each event
  • Managing pre-event walk through and attend events to facilitate operations, respond to emergencies and problems, etc.
  • Help set-up and breakdown event spaces, as well as, pick-up and deliver food and beverages as needed

  • Creative mind and ability to think “out of the box”
  • Superior interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Highly adept to developing strong relationships with a wide variety of people
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a face-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum two years’ event planning experience
  • Strong knowledge and commitment to the mission of The Associated
