Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) serves three primary roles: it is the world’s leading presenter of superb artistic programming, is a national leader in arts education and community relations, and functions as the manager of the Lincoln Center campus, which is home to 11 separate resident organizations. LCPA presents over 350 performances annually throughout our different performance series including American Songbook, Great Performers, Live from Lincoln Center, Mostly Mozart Festival, Midsummer Night Swing, Lincoln Center Out of Doors and White Light Festival.  

In addition, LCPA supports an array of programs for Lincoln Center Education including its community and family programming. 


Reporting to the Associate Director, Financial Operations, this position is responsible for efficient and effective financial management of Lincoln Center’s Concert Halls and Operations team, which supports management of Lincoln Center’s physical campus and venues. The Financial Analyst’s responsibilities will include tracking operating and capital expenses, as well as assisting with payroll review and reconciliations. The position has a strong supporting role in the development of Concert Halls and Operations’ operating budget and multi-year capital plans, and in enhancing communication within Lincoln Center’s internal departments and with resident organizations (Metropolitan Opera, New York Philharmonic, etc.) and other various stakeholders.  


• Code and process vendor invoices from Operations. 

• Perform several monthly close entries and generate back-up for monthly billings for shared areas of operation.

• Provide back-up for other financial analyst performing payroll duties and inputting hours into an allocation model.  

• Create monthly accrual entries with appropriate back-up.

• Ensure all costs and hours are billed accurately, send out invoices, and generate back-up for invoices for shared operations.

• Track all capital project expenditures in several departments and provide YTD and multi-year reporting on each project. 

• Create monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations on several balance sheet accounts. 

• Perform two full year-end close reconciliation and entries. 


• 2-5 years of accounting experience.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Extremely organized with exceptional detail orientation.

• Expertise in Excel.

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance and/or Accounting strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
