Live In House Parent for Youth Therapeutic Housing Program (THP)

1.0 FTE -Therapeutic Housing Program (THP) House Parent

Job Responsibilities:

Anisa’s Place is the therapeutic home for 6 female and female identifying youth located

in Clackamas County, Oregon. The Therapeutic Housing Program (THP) serves youth

who are identified as Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) by providing a

safe and healthy living environment in which they can experience support, growth, and

empowerment.

We are currently looking for a House Parent for Anisa’s Place. The right person will

identify with AV41’s mission and vision and serve as a role model to the youth in the

THP. The responsibilities of the House Parent include:

● Provision of care and supervision for residents

● Help with meal preparation, menu documentation, and grocery pick up

● Transportation for residents to medical/health appointments and other activities

● Facilitation of ongoing relationships with residents and their families

● Following schedules and participating in related staff meetings

Schedule and Working Conditions:

This position works out of Oregon City, Oregon in a residential facility for youth. The

House Parent is expected to both reside in the facility full-time, and perform job-related

responsibilities. The work schedule will reflect meeting the needs of the essential job

functions and will be overseen by the Program Director.

Qualifications:

● High School Diploma or GED

● 1-2 years of experience/education in a similar position

● Valid Driver’s License with excellent driving record

● Ability to care for up to seven youth

● Must possess and exhibit behavior that demonstrates cultural diversity and

sensitivity
