Title: Salesforce Operations Manager

Position Summary/Overview: NYAM is seeking a Salesforce Operations Manager to work with teams across the organization for overall implementation, maintenance, and user support for the Salesforce tool and its related platforms and systems. The ideal candidate will be a data and architecture enthusiast, who will champion the strategic long-term goals of the organization and the role that Salesforce and future technologies can play in achieving those goals. This person will report to the Senior Vice President for Public Engagement and will work closely with all NYAM teams.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary system administrator and subject matter expert for the Salesforce environment

• Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks

• Manage and maintain relevant third-party integrations including MyEmma, Classy, Soapbox Engage, and others

• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems

• Own the quality of data completeness and integrity across all program management systems

• Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades

• Manage data imports, database deduping, and database cleanup for data accuracy

• Provide day-to-day end-user support including implementation, user adoption, system configuration and maintenance, formulas, testing, data integrity, backups, and others as identified

• Develop a solid understanding of department-specific business processes

• Translate user requests/requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products


Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree

• 3+ years Salesforce administrator or related experience, in a high-tech/SaaS high-growth environment

• Experience working with the Nonprofit Success Pack

• Salesforce Admin Certification required

• Experience with AppExchange and other third-party solutions

• Experience in designing of custom objects, custom fields, role based page layouts, custom Tabs, custom reports, report folders, report extractions to various formats, design of Visual Force Pages and Dashboards

• Experience working alongside a team of diverse professionals and working in a rapidly changing environment

• Familiarity with APEX code or SQL queries a plus
