Position Title: Site Director, NCR

Location: National Capital Region (NCR) / Silver Spring, MD

Reports To: Managing Director, NCR 

The Site Director leads the programmatic, instructional and administrative success at our NCR campus. As the internal operations lead, you will play an integral role in managing day-to-day functions across teams and with respect to facilities. You will also be responsible for managing a team of instructors, ensuring that curriculum is taught consistently and in accordance with Per Scholas’ program requirements, with an eye toward fostering continuing growth in their classroom management and engagement skills.

The Site Director works collaboratively with the Managing Director, the Director, Recruitment & Admissions, and the Director, Business Solutions, in guiding the strategic direction and overall management of the NCR campus.


Program Leadership and Site Supervision

  • Collaborate with the National Training Team in implementing all aspects of instructional training and programmatic administration
  • Directly manage Technology Instructors, Instructional Assistants, and Manager of Career Development in providing high-quality technology training and workforce preparation to Per Scholas learners
  • Ensure consistent data collection and reporting, proposing and enacting process improvements as needed
  • Coordinate with building management and Per Scholas Core Mission Support team to maintain oversight of the physical campus
  • Work with the Purchasing Manager to monitor and provision staff and student materials and technology
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director


Professional Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience including:
  • Experience managing teams of strong performers to success
  • Experience in adult learning/education with a focus on technology a plus
  • Supporting relationship management at multiple levels of corporate hierarchies
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills within performance measurement frameworks
  • Past success linking operational and business functions to strategic objectives
  • Understanding of or prior experience in the technology field
