Missions:

As StartOut Program Manager, you will be working with the Senior Program Manager and you will be supporting the following programs: mentorship, investor portal, and expert office hours. You will also coordinate onboarding, customer service, and impact tracking activities.

As part of a small but highly effective team to advance the economic empowerment of the LGBTQ+ community, you will be also responsible for the success of our founder member engagement initiatives: onboarding, customer service, scholarship management, and impact measurement.

In brief, you are in charge of the overall happiness and satisfaction of a diverse group of founder members. 

A Day in the Life:

• Reviewing founder applications and onboarding new founder members to the organization
• Keeping our founder members happy by matching them with mentors in a timely manner
• Following up with founder members and mentors to ensure a mutually beneficial mentorship experience
• Keeping our founder members happy by connecting them to investors
• Keeping our community of investors engaged by preparing monthly updates of founder members that are currently fundraising
• Keeping of community of founder members up to date with resources and opportunities
• Following up with founder members on their development and success to measure impact
• Maintaining a pulse on the overarching needs and requests of our founder members
• Answering questions/ requests from founder members in a timely manner
• Working alongside the Senior Program Manager to strategize, implement, and maintain new founder programs/initiatives as needed
• Managing and executing cross-functional projects as needed
• Managing and maintaining healthy relationships with external partners as needed
• Collaborating and working with programming boards and corporate sponsors as needed

About You:

• You have 3+ years of experience as a Program or Project Manager. 
• You are very familiar with the startup/ entrepreneurship world. 
• You are detail oriented and organized - you love making order from chaos and take great pleasure in helping others tie up loose ends.
• You are a self starter who thrives in ambiguous environments - when you don’t know what to do next, you know how to leverage online resources, and can do a little sleuthing through shared resources as a first step, but recognize when to ask for help to ensure maximum efficiency. 
• You live by deadlines and are a master communicator - you can keep yourself organized and deliver on time. When you sense a delay, you are quick to flag it and communicate roadblocks. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
• You’re tech savvy and enjoy learning new systems to improve efficiency.
• You have experience working at a mission-driven, non-profit organization.
• You have a keen interest in LGBTQ issues.
• Bonus Points: you have experience using Salesforce.
