Passion. Purpose. Impact. CJP is at the heart of Greater Boston's Jewish community, but our reach is felt around the world. We bring together the resources, volunteers, leadership, and expertise to care for people in need, advocate for Israel, and ensure a vibrant Jewish future. Together, we're helping struggling families find financial stability, making Jewish learning relevant and inclusive, connecting the next generation to Jewish life, and so much more. Our greatest resource is our people — the staff, volunteers, partners and leaders who help make Greater Boston’s Jewish community a welcoming home. It’s this energy and commitment that drive CJP’s mission. We are one of Boston's oldest and most respected philanthropic organizations and we are currently seeking a Manager of Internal Communications.

The Manager of Internal Communications oversees the day-to-day execution of CJP’s internal communications. Reporting to the AVP of Marketing, this position uses a variety of mediums and technologies, including email, intranet, PowerPoint, video, social media, events, and meetings to effectively inform, align, and engage employees with CJP’s mission, vision, and values. This position will work to implement the strategy developed with the AVP of Marketing to champion change management efforts and to promote a culture of learning with equal parts healthy curiosity and courageous honesty.

The successful candidate thrives working cross-functionally and will be skilled at building strong relationships with colleagues at all levels. The Manager of Internal Communications will have a pulse on the organization and will serve as an advocate for all staff, helping to ‘connect the dots’ and proactively identify gaps in communication and areas for improvement.

This position will work collaboratively throughout CJP to solicit feedback, develop content, and manage and deliver integrated campaigns that have a measurable impact on our culture and brand-building efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·        In conjunction with senior leaders from Marketing, HR, and Operations, develop and execute an internal communication strategy that supports CJP’s mission, vision, and values and that aligns with our external messaging

·        Work with HR and Senior Digital Marketing Manager to create and post content reflecting CJP’s core values and culture on our LinkedIn channel

·        Partner with HR, Marketing, and colleagues across departments to design, promote, and execute all staff events, including the Summer Outing, Milestone Awards, Jewish holiday programming, and Lunch and Learns, ensuring they are fun, inclusive, meaningful, and integrated with our core messaging and brand.

·        Take and edit photos or simple video from distinct events and activities for intranet, social posts, or other communication vehicles

·        Actively participate in bi-monthly Culture Committee meetings with colleagues across the organization

·        Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
