Terms of Reference:

Title: Research Consultant

Contract Type: Consultant

Contract Duration: 4 months Start Date: June 15, 2021

Application Deadline: June 1, 2021


Scope of Work:

  • Conduct desk and literature reviews to support the implementation of research projects
  • Provide research project management support for ongoing projects
  • Prepare drafts and otherwise support the development of SBC research protocols and materials, including qualitative research guides, survey questionnaires, preparation of applications for Human Subjects Review
  • Prepare drafts and otherwise support the development of research products, including slide decks, research briefs, and other technical writings
  • Assist in any other SBC research related tasks as needed


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, particularly those that use quantitative methods
  • 5 + years of experience designing and managing SBC research and evaluation studies using quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Significant experience in working primarily with quantitative data, but also with qualitative data
  • Knowledge of social and behavior change research theories and approaches desirable
  • Excellent project management skills and detail-orientation
  • Excellent writing skills
