Associate, National Health Campaigns

At AMGA we’re paving the way for medical groups and integrated systems of care to deliver the next level of high-performance health. Our foundation has an opening for an Associate, National Health Campaigns reporting to the Senior Director, National Health Campaigns. 

AMGA Foundation is in the planning and development phase of its next national campaign—a 4-year initiative on adult immunizations. Launching in fall 2021, this campaign will engage medical groups, health systems, partners, and sponsors to achieve the collective goal of 25 million documented or administered immunizations by 2025. A successful Associate will manage and execute campaign tactics to mobilize and empower participating AMGA member organizations nationwide to improve vaccination rates.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent project management and communication skills (both oral and written). S/he must be able to thrive both independently and in a team environment. This person will be a quick learner, strong problem-solver, and critical thinker with a “can-do” attitude. Flexibility, reliability and ability to work well with campaign stakeholders are critical for success in this role. Knowledge or interest in healthcare is preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·        Create and distribute content for campaign monthly newsletter, e-blasts, and updates in AMGA and external publications.

  • Develop content for campaign surveys to evaluate campaign participants’ progress, needs, and barriers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for campaign partners and sponsors to help track and fulfill contract benefits (e.g., reports, resource-sharing, materials development, etc.)
  • Manage campaign data reporting—specifically monitoring data reporting compliance, conducting outreach to non-reporters, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Liaise with team members from AMGA Analytics to produce and distribute quarterly data reports tracking campaign participants’ progress in immunization rates.
  • Conduct outreach and follow-up to campaign participants via telephone and email regarding various campaign activities and document progress. ­­­­
  • Leverage membership database with campaign-related information, including participating groups, group points of contact, etc.
  •  Liaise with AMGA Membership department to track changes in membership status and their impact on campaign activities.
  • Manage logistics for team’s participation involvement at annual AMGA conferences, including conference signage, coordinating exhibit booth area, liaising with speakers, facilitating reimbursements, among other activities.
  • Develop PowerPoint slides for a variety of campaign activities, such as webinars, in-person events, and recruitment calls.
  • Provide support for special projects as developed under the campaign.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the National Health Campaigns team.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience desired
  • Strong writer with the ability to develop compelling content for various audiences
  • Experience conducting outreach and follow-up via phone and email
  • Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Very strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Follows direction closely and produces timely, error-free work
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Ability to take on multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Experience working in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with strong formatting skills
  • Experience working in a database to input/update data as well as extract desired information
  • Proficiency in webinar (e.g., Cisco WebEx and Zoom platforms) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) desirable

AMGA is currently allowing full-time telecommuting due to COVID-19. Upon return to the office, this role will be required to report to the office a minimum of two days per week.
