eCommerce Expansion Program Manager

Selected as a new temporary hire, the eCommerce Expansion Program Manager will be responsible for fully managing all components of this innovation initiative through September 30, 2022. The manager, in coordination with the COVID Program Manager and WBC Director, will lead development of an overall programmatic strategy as well as execute tactics to deliver intended outcomes.

Manager duties will include:

  • Promote eCommerce Program in collaboration with Marketing Director to advance registrations and meet overall participation goals
  • Answer incoming calls on a designated extension for small business owners requesting information about the WCEC’s eCommerce program resources
  • Manage program online registration process
  • Community outreach
  • Conduct pre and post-program consultations with small business owners
  • Working with small business owners to determine the best eCommerce strategy for their business
  • Identifying subject matter experts as instructors
  • Scheduling in-person classes and webinars 
  • Coordinating business counseling sessions
  • Facilitating support groups for small business owners
  • Track, assess and make as-needed adjustments to self-paced components of the eCommerce Program 
  • Maintain relationship with small business owners who are part of our eCommerce training and counseling programs
  • Deliver workshops via Zoom and in-person on introductory eCommerce resource topics
  • Schedule all client meetings related to the eCommerce program 
  • Conduct business counseling sessions with clients
  • Data entry into WCEC client database
  • Prepare quarterly grant reports & status presentations on program activities


Qualifications:

  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize key items, take initiative, and develop procedures that improve efficiency to ensure successful delivery of programs, services and client relations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, writing and decision-making skills
  • Experience with using eCommerce for a small business. (preferred not required)
  • Familiarity with different eCommerce platforms and tools (preferred not required)
  • Dedicated to the mission of the WCEC, to help women start and grow successful businesses with proven skills in program and client outreach, client relations, and sensitivity to the needs of a diverse client base
