General Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead internal subject matter expert on association software, including but not limited to AMS, CMS (Drupal), community software (Higher Logic), LMS (Moodle), and conference management system (eShow)

·      Work with business units and vendors to identify, analyzing and resolving problems associated with different software

·      Coordinate with third party vendors to resolve problems with different association software as needed

·      Understand integrations between the different software platforms and troubleshoot integrations issues as needed

·      Work with various stakeholders to develop and document standard operating procedures for association software

·      Providing recommendations for improvements or enhancements to various software used by the association

·      Lead cross functional teams to implement and maintain required enhancements of the AMS and reporting infrastructure to achieve business goals and objectives

·      Perform regular data hygiene activities in the AMS including but not limited to deduping, data audits, and data consistency checks

·      Create and manage departmental dashboards to aid in KPI tracking

·      Manages smaller projects as assigned by the director. Project management activities include project initiation, planning, collaborating with the project team to execute against the plan, monitoring & controlling tasks and deliverables, and performing project closeout procedures

·      Address or escalate to director any issues preventing projects from achieving objectives

·      Other duties as assigned


Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • College degree required
  • In-depth understanding of association software systems including but not limited to AMS systems, email Marketing Systems, Learning Management Systems, and Conference Technology
  • 3-5 years work experience preferred
  • General Skills: Good communication skills, customer service oriented, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, problem solving skills a must
  • Technical Skills: HTML, CSS, SQL (preferred), knowledge of databases and relational data structures
