Open Path Psychotherapy Collective is a nationwide network of mental health professionals dedicated to providing in-office and online mental health care—at a steeply reduced rate—to clients in need. Since our founding in 2013, Open Path has matched more than 45,000 clients across the country to affordable psychotherapeutic care. Additionally, Open Path has had over 41,000 students sign on to take one of our affordable online wellness courses.

Our organization is seeking a motivated, emotionally intelligent, detail-oriented professional to join our team. In addition to other responsibilities, this part-time Membership Associate position handles the virtual front desk and works closely with prospective and enrolled students in our Mental Health Education program. This individual should be extremely comfortable speaking on the phone, while quickly and efficiently using the internet.

Candidates for this position must:

  • Enjoy working with and being of service to other people
  • Have excellent customer service skills, including exemplary phone and live chat etiquette, and active listening skills
  • Have a strong ability to understand and positively respond to student needs, while maintaining healthy, clear boundaries
  • Communicate clearly and confidently
  • Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to accurately enter data on a computer
  • Be able to write clearly using proper grammar and spelling in English
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Feel confident working from home and staying on task
  • Be able to appropriately handle confidential information

Our ideal candidate would also have experience in social justice and/or the mental health field, and be proficient or fluent in spoken and written Spanish.

Hours and Location: This is a part-time position, Monday – Friday, either 9-1 or 1-5 Eastern Time.

While this position will work in close proximity to the Open Path staff, this is a job that will be done remotely in the quiet, non-chaotic environment of the employee’s choice. Open Path’s headquarters are located in Asheville, NC. Candidates may reside in any state in the United States as long as they are able to work East Coast hours.

 The Membership Associate will need to use their personal phone for this position, but laptop and printer may be provided by Open Path.

Salary and Benefits: Compensation for this position will be $22/hour. Benefits include 27 days of paid time off per year.
