Description

Non Profit Social Service Agency is currently seeking candidates for our CSE Advocate position. Our Survivor Services team works to meet emergency and long-term needs of adult survivors/victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Director of CSE Advocacy Services.

  

QUALIFICATIONS: • B.A Degree in Social Work or related field, or two years relevant experience • 1 year case management experience • Facilitation skills and strong conflict resolution • Effective engagement and relationship-building skills • Understanding and experience with empowerment-based advocacy • Effective written and verbal communication • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Knowledge of CSE and ability to relate in supportive/empathetic manner to survivors • Knowledge of the impact of CSE on marginalized populations • Understanding of and ability to maintain professional boundaries with staff and clients • Reliable attendance, organized, and time management PREFERENCES • Experience providing direct service and case management to high risk populations of adolescents and adults • Professional training on CSE, relevant service systems, and resources • Experience partnering and networking with agencies on behalf of CSE or related issues • Survivors of CSE are encouraged to apply
