Dress for Success San Jose is the local affiliate to the international organization, Dress for Success Worldwide, the international nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women through career development services. Dress for Success San Jose offers a four part program including our Suiting Program, Career Center, Going Places Network Job Search Program and our employment retention program known as our Professional Women’s Group to help women acquire jobs, retain their new positions and succeed in the workplace.

Dress for Success San Jose is currently seeking a part time Client Services Coordinator for 32 hours per week. The Client Services Coordinator is responsible for overall office management, scheduling of daily appointments including clients, volunteers and donors as well as meeting with all clients to educate them about all services available to them. This position reports to and works closely with Dress for Success San Jose Program Manager and Executive Director.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Administrative/ Client Services

·         Provide a comprehensive client orientation to all new and existing Dress for Success clients upon entry into boutique in order to educate them regarding career services offered.

·         Complete follow-up calls to clients on weekly/monthly basis in order to track employment.

·         Work with Program Manager to recruit new members into the GPN/PWG.

·         Facilitate all GPN meetings along with the management of the mentor/ mentee relationship.

·         Work with the Program Manager for the completion of all necessary GPN/PWG to submit to Worldwide.

·         Database entry utilizing E-tapestry database system in order to track participant progress and demographic data.

  • Responsible for maintaining Volunteer, Client, and Donor Calendar.
  • Coordinate and schedule donation drop off appointments with volunteer schedule.
  • Other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Responsible for continuous communication for the clients within the GPN and PWG
  • Assists the Program Manager to cultivate relationships in the community enhance hiring opportunities within the GPN Program.
  • Assist the Program Manager with event management


  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable and strong initiative; excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Professional and polished image.
  • Welcoming personality in-person and on telephone.
  • Advocate for the Dress for Success San Jose organization.

Work Schedule & Location:

  • Monday – Thursday, 9am – 5pm
  • Position works on site at our office located at 504 Valley Way, Milpitas, Ca 95035.
