Assistant Marketing and Compliance Manager, Affordable Housing

Position Overview The NYC Housing Partnership, a leading affordable housing nonprofit in New York City, is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager to assist in the marketing and compliance activities of affordable housing units that participate in various city and state subsidy programs. Responsibilities

• Review applicant files, follow up with applicants to obtain required paperwork, process all required third-party verification, and run credit and criminal background checks to determine applicant eligibility per program guidelines and project criteria

• Compile applicant files for internal and external review and approval

• Work collaboratively with other Assistant Marketing Managers and Administrative Assistants, to assist Marketing Managers, with the execution of marketing and compliance activities such as submitting marketing plans for agency approval, placing advertisements, responding to applicant inquiries, coordinating lottery process, and managing the project logbook,

• Assist in other leasing activities including scheduling unit showings, lease signings, and unit inspections for subsidy programs when applicable

• Report to the Deputy Director and Director of the department and execute other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High level of proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel

• Detail oriented and organized. Strong communication and analytical skills. Creativity and initiative to work both independently as well as within a team

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university required

• Comparable work experience with supportive housing, property management, social services, Section 8, and/or Low Income Housing Tax Credit a strong plus but not required

• Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese Mandarin/Cantonese a plus but not required

• Notary public a plus

• Authorization to work in the U.S. required Based in New York City. Immediate start.
