About Philly Thrive

Through our organizing, Philly Thrive won the permanent closure of the PES oil refinery and an end to 154 years of pollution. Our current campaign contests for justice in the historic refinery site redevelopment – together we’re organizing to win a complete cleanup of the site and robust reinvestment in our neighborhoods. Philly Thrive also runs community support programs including a youth summer camp, a gun violence healing circle, a women’s support circle and a weekly food box delivery. We will continue to build people-power until everyone has a Right to Breathe, free from pollution, oppression, and a violent economy.
