The MSC’s growing fundraising team is seeking to hire a full-time Development Projects Manager, preferably based in our London office, and reporting to the Senior Partnership Manager. The post holder will play a direct role in engaging and working with key foundation donors in order to manage existing project-based support and help the MSC engage new donors around project-based work aligned with the MSC’s mission. In addition, the successful candidate will also support the fundraising team on donor stewardship of existing funders with project reporting, grant budgeting and proposal writing.
We are looking specifically for candidates with strong skills in project management and reporting, international experience, funder relations, and donor stewardship. If you have such experience, we want to hear from you.
Your past successes include working with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating strong analysis skills and systematic problem solving, with a keen eye for detail. Along with excellent written and oral communication skills, you are well-organised, highly productive, people-centred and outcome focused.
The MSC operates the world’s most recognised fisheries certification and eco-labelling programme. We celebrate, promote and add value to sustainable fisheries and through the leadership of our partners, create market incentives to encourage other fisheries to improve the way they fish the oceans. Over 300 fisheries around the world, landing 12% of the annual global harvest, are now engaged at some stage of the MSC’s independent assessment process. MSC certified and labelled seafood products are now available in over 100 countries.

Competitive salary commensurate with pay level. For UK-based staff, the MSC offers a contributory pension scheme (employer’s contribution 9%, employee’s contribution 6%) and a Death in Service insurance benefit equal to four times annual salary. Employees are entitled to join Tier 2 of the pension scheme on satisfactory completion of their probation period.
Level of Language Proficiency
Demonstrated excellence in spoken communication and presentation skills with a diverse range of people.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English essential; a second relevant language is desirable.
