Full-time position – Start date by 7/1/21

The Wily Network works with talented, resourceful young people who are navigating their four-year college experience on their own. Wily Scholars are college students who have experience with homelessness or foster care, or whose parents may be deceased or incarcerated, dealing with addiction, or struggling with mental health issues. Some Scholars are estranged from their families due to identifying as LGBTQIA+.

The Wily program offers weekly trauma-sensitive coaching, supplemental financial assistance, a community of peers, and networking opportunities to help Scholars move from surviving to thriving. For more information, please visit thewilynetwork.org.

Wily and You

Do you dream of working on a college campus and strive for transformational relationships in your work with young people? Do you enjoy balancing direct service and supervisory responsibilities? Do you thrive as a member of a collaborative team?

If your answer is yes, then let’s meet and learn more about each other.

In your Clinical Coaching role, you will experience the honor of partnering with Wily Scholars throughout their college experience – supporting them in identifying and working towards their goals, managing challenges and celebrating their successes in real time. In your role as a Supervisor, you will collaborate with and support other committed and creative Wily Clinical Scholar Coaches, ensuring that Scholars’ critical needs are met and that they receive coaching that meets the highest standards.

We are looking for a Clinical Supervisor who can lead through growth, navigate ambiguity, and nurture a team of passionate clinicians as they build and maintain authentic relationships with students.

The Wily Network is especially committed to recruiting candidates from historically marginalized backgrounds and identities as well as those whose leadership style fosters diversity, equity and inclusion. The successful candidate will possess the authenticity and cultural humility necessary to be an effective representative of Wily and the Wily Scholars.

Desired Qualifications:

  • The candidate should have 1-2 years of experience providing clinical supervision and experience working with young adults who have endured trauma
  • Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or equivalent)
  • Professional experience with crisis management, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based approaches
  • Valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation for travel as required by the position

The Wily Network strives to create a workplace that reflects our commitment to racial, gender, and social equity. All identities will be welcomed, valued, and protected as a member of our Pack.
