About The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF)


The National Hemophilia Foundation is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for inheritable bleeding disorders and to preventing the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy and research. Established in 1948, we are based in New York City with chapters throughout the country. NHF’s programs and initiatives are made possible through the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations as well as through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).


About the Role

NHF is looking for a Production and Creative Services Specialist to join our team. The Production and Creative Services Specialist is responsible for the production of all publications, print, electronic and promotional materials for the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF), as well as managing and maintaining communication platforms.


Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Production of all NHF print and promotional materials including, but not limited to brochures, posters, signs, invitations, premium items, slides, etc.
  • Act as a lead between freelance designers, printers, and NHF marketing department
  • Create banner ads and social media graphics as needed
  • Design, layout and prepare print and promotional materials as needed
  • Write and distribute RFPs and manage relevant vendor relations
  • Develop production schedules with interdepartmental teams and traffic all production activities, keeping within department budget constraints
  • Maintain files and artwork for publications projects including invoices, purchase orders, etc.
  • Act as lead for all NHF 3rd-party event apps
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for foundation departments as needed
  • Manage photo archive and photo subscription services; upload and refresh images for NHF websites, newsletters and email campaigns
  • Assist with management of NHF websites, including uploading articles and creating eblasts

What You Bring:

To qualify for this unique opportunity, our ideal candidate should have the following skills, education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant print production, graphic design; skilled in producing newsletters (print/online), brochure, booklets, and other online/off line marketing materials. 
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Desktop publishing (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop), MS office, excellent project management, communications, writing and multi-tasking skills.
  • Video editing capability a plus
  • Strong proofreading and copyediting skills; copywriting skills with SEO experiences a plus
