About the Position

The Student Recruitment Coordinator will work as part of the Prospect Schools External Affairs team, and will play a pivotal role in working with prospective family outreach to ensure our seats are filled with a student body. This position requires strong organizational skills and an ability to effectively communicate with all constituents.

Primary Job Functions

  • Manage inquiries from general public, prospective and admitted families
  • Collaborates with school-based staff to finalize key dates for admissions calendar
  • Create queries and exports, produce reports, and perform data analysis for organization’s enrollment system
  • Manages communication logs to ensure prompt follow up with prospective families (admission invites, post lottery communication plan)
  • Support schools in ensuring non-native english speaking applicant families are guided through the admissions process
  • Leads webinars to prepare school staff for admissions seasons
  • Assist with student recruitment events

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years working experience in a customer service or admissions field
  • Fluency in Spanish Required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Experience with admissions software or database ideal
