    Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and professional part-time Administrative Assistant to provide excellent support for various administrative tasks within our local North Philadelphia nonprofit providing social services to women, girls and families. Work hours (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10am – 3pm); 15 hours per week @ $16.35 hour.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • General office duties including filing, answering phones, and data entry.
    • Maintaining organized records of invoices, contracts, and other office documents.
    • Coordinating meetings and handling scheduling requests.
    • Liaising with other program personnel, and ensure effective communication across all teams.
    • Assisting with additional special projects or tasks as needed.

    Qualifications/Skills

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher, optimum.
    • (Active Retirees welcomed.)
    • Proven administrative or business office experience.
    • Exceptional communication skills.
    • Professional, friendly and courteous demeanor
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting processes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
    • Ability to handle confidential information.
    • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
