Description

The Shakespeare Theatre Company, the nation’s foremost classical theatre located in Washington, D.C., seeks an innovative, experienced Publicist. This is a key position in STC’s Communications Department, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. The Publicist is responsible for publicity for all productions, STC special events, and institutional PR opportunities on a regional, national, and international level. A Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Arts Management, Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations with three or more years of professional experience required. Knowledge of and experience in regional theatre PR highly preferred.
