Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely financial statement preparation and analysis (including multi-entity consolidations)
  • Prepare financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Prepare monthly cash flow analysis and forecasts
  • Prepare rolling financial statement projections
  • Coordinate annual budgeting process
  • Manage balance sheet exposure (promptly identify liquidity, identifying surplus cash, identifying financing needs and determining best options)
  • Coordinate strategic quarterly financial review meetings with departments who manage restricted funding to ensure proper utilization of funds
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly schedules
  • Develop automated monthly internal management reports for Departments & Regions
  • Develop automated Dashboard reports for senior management and the Board
  • Develop, prepare and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other required financial metrics and business analysis
  • Assist in financial statement preparation for SOI’s annual consolidated audit
  • Assist in preparing Senior Management and Board reporting packages
  • Financial modeling related to multi-year strategic planning process
  • Review budget vs actuals and communicate with Budget Managers to document variance explanations
  • Other duties as assigned



  • 4+ years of experience with responsibility for financial statement preparation and analysis, GL accounting / reconciliations, budgeting or other financial project assignments;
  • BS and/or Master degree in Accounting preferred;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above;
  • Public Accounting Audit Experience strongly preferred;
  • Prophix experience preferred; Microsoft Navision experience desired;
  • Experience writing reports in Prophix or Jet Reports preferred;
  • Active CPA License preferred;
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, filters, etc) required;
  • Experience with international organizations and foreign currencies preferred;
  • Superior interpersonal abilities and supervisory skills; strong budgeting and strategic planning skills; excellent analytical and reporting skills; tactful; flexible; respectful; ability to multi-task; excellent listening, thinking, negotiating, and reasoning skills;
  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of the accounting and finance function;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently without supervision;
  • Ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways;
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
