Job Title: Communications Coordinator, Full-Time
Reports To: Communications Manager
Position Summary
LINC seeks a Communications Coordinator to join its award-winning Development team which underpins the mandate of the Fundraising, Advocacy, and Communications units to raise resources and increase the visibility of LINC’s critical work. The role will focus primarily on the coordination and support of LINC’s programmatic communication efforts with the goal of increasing family and partner engagement. As part of the Development team, the Communications Associate will also assist in other departmental functions and collaborate with the team as directed. This position reports to the Communications Manager and works closely with the program team.

Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required
Excellent writing, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a busy environment
Reliable, flexible and able to problem solve creatively with limited resources.
Excellent organization and time management skills
Eager to learn and adapt new software as needed. This includes all social media platforms, Hootsuite, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite WIX and MailChimp or other digital marketing software.
Strong proofreading abilities
Social media savvy, including the use of analytics to increase reach and engagement
Additional Skills/Qualifications:
A strong interest in early literacy and a familiarity with community organizing and nonprofit organizations
Ability to work independently and as a member of a diverse team
Two or more language abilities, a huge plus
