The Art School at Old Church invites experienced art instructors to apply for studio teaching positions.

We seek artists in all visual art disciplines to facilitate courses and workshops for students of all ages, interests, and abilities. The Art School at Old Church, located in Demarest, NJ, is a non-profit cultural center that provides instruction in ceramics, collage, drawing, painting, fiber arts, glass, jewelry, photography, printmaking, and more.

Qualifications / Requirements for Young Artists Program:

• 2+ years teaching experience in a public /private school or alternative art education program
• Bachelor's Degree or comparable professional experience
• Availability to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM and/or Saturdays

Qualifications / Requirements for Adult Program:

• 2+ years teaching experience in a public/private school or alternative art education program
• Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience
• Availability to teach a three-hour class(es) 9:15AM-12:15 PM or 12:30 PM-3:30 PM or 7 PM-10 PM
• Semesters range from 6 to 10 weeks
