Eden House is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Program Coordinator whose responsibilities will include coordinating Especially Eden, the Eden House social enterprise, and our volunteer program, as well as providing administrative support for Eden House’s on-going activities.


Social Enterprise (50%)

Provide leadership for the programmatic and commercial aspects of the social enterprise:

  • In a trauma-informed and victim-centered approach, manage and guide resident activities and involvement in the social enterprise, provide support for participating residents through training and professional role modeling.
  • Coordinate with community partners to provide residents with job readiness and professional development workshops
  • Research and connect with potential vendors to provide products for the enterprise, and maintain these partnerships
  • Create and coordinate marketing materials to distribute information to the community about the Eden House social enterprise and to increase awareness in other areas via a social media marketing plan.
  • Other social enterprise management duties including basic tracking of finances, orders and customer support, market sales and tabling, and other duties as needed
  • Support and actively participate in the Social Enterprise Task Force to provide creative input, direction, and goals for Especially Eden
  • Consult with clinical and office staff on trauma-informed and victim-centered participant management


Volunteer Program (25%)

  • Engage with the community to provide information about volunteering and recruiting volunteers
  • Plan volunteer activities with the Executive Director and other staff based on volunteer qualifications and interest, and house/organizational needs
  • Manage volunteers during service and recognize volunteer impact on the Eden House community
  • Track volunteer inquiries and hours of service for reporting and evaluation purposes


Office Support (25%)

  • Support Executive Director in areas of data and office management on an as-needed basis
  • Manage on-line donation platform
  • Provide assistance with annual fundraiser and on-going fundraising activities
  • Manage Eden House and Especially Eden website and social media pages


Resident Support

Keep and provide a model for open communication between residents and staff, fostering awareness of resident issues and concerns


Reports to: Executive Director


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 2+ years of work experience (could include AmeriCorps or related experience)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Prior training, experience, or demonstrated interest to work with individuals who have experienced severe trauma
  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing work environments
  •  Knowledge and experience working with basic business processes, data and analysis, and/or database management a must
  • Familiarity with Office, Quickbooks, donor databases
