Who We’re Looking For

We are recruiting a membership professional to facilitate the activity of CTBUH chapters and regional committees around the world, as well as provide support for overall membership goals.


Essential responsibilities

Coordinate and support CTBUH global leadership, including chapters, Future Leaders Committees, and regional committees through email/phone communication, electronic file management, mailings, reports, website updates, etc. Build relationships with key contacts, including existing

members, prospective members, chapter leaders, committee leaders, and develop strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders of influence.

Coordinate all headquarters-led aspects of CTBUH regional events and the Global Walking Tour, collaborating with Membership, Events, Marketing Communications and other staff as needed. Responsible for event promotion and publicity via the CTBUH website, event reporting, and provision of recruitment materials for use on-site.

Assist in the development of events and leadership templates, manuals and policies, including web templates and “best practices” guides. Ensure chapters are in compliance according to the terms outlined in the CTBUH Chapter Affiliate and License Agreement.

Possess excellent customer service mindset and skills, ensuring member requests are handled in a timely and accurate manner. Become proficient in CRM and all aspects of membership process, including renewals, payments and website updates.

Required Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in a membership role with an association or nonprofit

Excellent written and verbal communication

High attention to detail

Entrepreneurial approach to work and ability to multitask

Experience using CRMs to manage membership functions

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
