JOB DUTIES Under the direct supervision of the Family Success Center Program Director. Responsible for resource and volunteer development by integrating him/herself into the immediate community and building mutually beneficial relationships with parents, faith community, businesses, advocates, and key stakeholders i.e. schools, service providers, local and county government and other agencies. Works with the community to highlight strengths and identify challenges where resources need to be leveraged and developed to better support and serve its children, youth and families.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Identifies the strengths, challenges and service gaps in the community in collaboration with the community partners and parent leaders • Leads and assists the community in the development of support, services and approach, to address challenges of its families. • Plans and coordinates strategies to involve parents, educators, retired professionals, and community leaders as volunteers at their local Family Success Center. • Supervises and provides direction to the volunteers and consultation for all volunteer functions. • Reviews and implements new methods for attracting, training, and retaining volunteer staff. • Incorporates and implements the Principles of Family Support and the Protective Factors into all aspects of their work. • Desire to serve people in need and relate to diverse populations. • Develops relationship with local employers and businesses to identify job placement opportunities and develop a job bank. • Works closely with other departments and staff to implement effective service integration strategies. • Develop relationships with other community stakeholders and 3 MOUs per quarter. • File monthly reports and all required documentation • Performs all other related duties.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS OR QUALIFICATIONS - SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS • Education and previous experience in recruiting, training and coordinating volunteers. • A caring individual, who is dedicated and willing to make a difference in the lives of infants, toddlers, and their families. • Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and friendly). • Strong administrative and manager skills including seeing through projects which require strong organizational skills, multi- tasking, time-management, self-initiative and follow-up. • Must demonstrate strong computer and Microsoft Office software experience with Word, Excel, and E-Mail. • Must feel comfortable speaking with parents, business partners, vendors, ICC leadership/Administration team. • Must have a driver’s license and own transportation preferred.
