Position Overview

We're looking for someone who's energetic, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can juggle a lot of priorities at once. As part of our evolving recruiting team, you’ll work closely with our Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement new programs and processes to move us closer to our goals of filling open positions faster, hiring strong candidates with the potential for a long-term career with HELP, and providing a great candidate experience. You’ll be part of establishing a culture where all candidates, those hired and those not selected, are treated with respect and have a positive experience with HELP USA.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking the lead role in creating a strong candidate pipeline of entry-level security staff:

o Developing and managing relationships with multiple candidate sources

o Reviewing resumes and conducting phone screens

o Conducting in-person interviews

o Scheduling interviews with hiring managers

o Maintaining candidate contact throughout the hiring process


  • Managing the applicant tracking system so that new job requisitions are processed and posted quickly and candidate records are accurate and updated.
  • Being the point person for direct inquiries about job openings - determining candidate qualifications and making recommendations to the right hiring managers.
  • Managing internal applicants and candidates referred by employees to make sure all are well treated and appropriately considered by hiring managers.
  • Working closely with other members of the HR team to coordinate background screening, verify candidate credentials, and move hired candidates into the onboarding process.
  • Ad hoc projects and requests to support the talent acquisition process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience in recruiting, including aptitude with an Applicant Tracking System. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, ideally in Human Resources or a related field.
  • High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outgoing personality and drive to provide great customer service to hiring managers and candidates.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail so that nothing falls through the cracks and candidates are moved through the recruiting process as quickly as possible.
  • Proactive, resourceful self-starter with ability to prioritize, handle several projects simultaneously, and work well with minimal supervision.
  • Team-focused and willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word).
