Data Management & Analysis Assistant (Part time 50%)*

The position is to be filled as soon as possible with a contract duration until July 31, 2022. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.

As Data Management & Analysis Assistant you will be dedicated to data related issues of the ESUPS (Emergency Supply Pre-positioning Strategy) project. You will support the development and implementation of data collection and analysis processes, process the stock data entries into the designated platform as well as support the development of this platform if this is required. By combining creativity, flexibility and innovativeness with a profound database knowledge you will have a signinficant impact on the success of the ESUPS project.

Your responsibilities

• Participate in the delivery of ESUPS products through the collection, collation, coding and analysis of secondary and primary data
• Support colleagues and partners in the field for primary and secondary data collection and coding
• Process the data entry of stock information collected into the STOCKHOLM platform
• Design and create data management tools and databases as per need and implement data management techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
• Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
• Support the ESUPS project team, e.g. report & proposal writing, data presentations and collection, analyzing social media performances

Your profile

• A Bachelor's Degree in Data Management or a comparable (commercial) education or relevant work experience
• 3 years of professional experience in data management or analysis in humanitarian logistics would be desirable
• Profound knowledge in Excel, including VBA and other data management Software
• Excellent coordination and organizational, as well as interpersonal competences
• Excellent verbal and written English
