Job Overview

In the fast-paced and continually evolving world of behavioral healthcare, we are the behind the scenes team ensuring our 750+ dedicated clinicians and administrative staff have the electronic tools they need to efficiently and effectively treat our clients and their needs.

As part of a dynamic team responsible for all agency electronic health record systems, you are responsible for coordinating and managing the wide range of projects planned and underway across the agency and its many clinical programs. This requires keeping system and clinical closely needs aligned through planning, review of configurations, and close collaboration with the team and external stakeholders on program implementations, updates, and driving new initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiates, manages, and moves varied projects forward with key stakeholders and program partners
  • Serve as a key partner in EHR management strategic direction and prioritization
  • Reviews and incorporates system updates as appropriate in conjunction with EMR management team and tested, logical reasoning
  • Tests new and existing functionality in pursuit of relevant clinical applications and applies those insights to cross departmental projects that demonstrably increase efficiency and quality of care

  • BA or BS degree
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and the ability to bridge differences and produce meaningful outcomes from diverse groups of peers
  • Proven and demonstrable examples of initiating, planning, executing, and concluding projects that require cross team collaboration and buy in
  • Systems thinking and procedure/process development.Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population
  • Understanding of healthcare, EHR environment, and its accompanying challenges

  • Knowledge of clinical documentation (BH and Primary Care specific--ICD-10, BH progress notes, treatment plans, etc)
  • Personnel management
  • Experience working successfully in an environment with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self-sufficiency
  • Understanding of and experience in non-profits
  • Behavioral health or primary care experience preferred
