The Development Operations and Brand Manager (DOBM), reporting to the Director of Development and Marketing (DDM), will contribute to City Year San Antonio’s growth and impact by helping the site to create an exceptional donor/prospect experience that deepens relationships and expands its base of support through special events and effective communication. The Development Operations and Brand Manager will accomplish this by playing a pivotal role in the execution of inspiring fundraising and donor engagement events; supporting donor data management, gift processing, and donor recognition; and creating compelling collateral, social media, and communications projects in collaboration with site leadership and headquarters specialists.
To be successful in this role, a candidate must be a strong, independent worker with strong organization and project management skills, excellent data analysis skills, the ability to work well in a fast paced environment, and the ability to develop strong relationships with City Year’s headquarters, staff, and stakeholders. Event production and management: Lead and manage all event logistics, including online campaigns and special events like the annual Ripples of Hope Celebration. Oversee and coordinate logistics including managing event workplan, working with the DDM to create event collateral, coordinating external vendors and staff roles and responsibilities and tracking all expenses.
Development Operations: Maintain donor and revenue databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Lead Development Team in database usage, including report generation and analysis, implementation of regular pipeline meetings and driving improvements to operations and processes.
Donor management and stewardship: Maintain the donor relationship management and stewardship processes, including timely creation and distribution of pledge agreements, managing gift processing and database documentation, and ensuring updated, organized collateral for donor engagement events and meetings.
Brand and Marketing Management: Support the development and implementation of site’s overall Marketing and Communication strategy to increase City Year’s brand awareness by supporting content creation for collateral and social media, creating graphics, executing distribution of site communications, measuring and monitoring performance and ensuring updated website.
