Path Forward, a fast-growing, nationally recognized nonprofit, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to help build out our brand and audience. We are on a mission to help people who have taken a break from their careers for caregiving purposes re-enter the workforce. In just 2 years, we’ve partnered with 40 companies to help nearly 200 people - mainly women - get back to work.
The ideal Marketing Coordinator will have 3 to 5 years of experience in a corporate or nonprofit organization supporting the execution of marketing programs and projects. We are looking for someone who is smart, enthusiastic, and adaptable, as well as passionate about creating a more inclusive workforce. Specific projects and duties will include building and managing Path Forward’s social media presence and brand; creating and managing email and digital advertising campaigns; overseeing SEO and SEM efforts; involvement in press outreach and relations; and overseeing a full update of the Path Forward site. Prior experience with marketing technology (especially WordPress, MailChimp and Google AdWords) is a definite plus, as are skills related to graphic design and video.
This role requires excellent time-management and organizational skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and obsessive attention to detail. As a very small startup, we need someone who is comfortable with multi-tasking and working in a fluid environment. The ability to proactively solve problems and work efficiently with a moderate amount of supervision is also crucial. We are agnostic as to where these skills have been acquired -- in professional environments, as part of volunteer efforts, in community service, or in educational institutions.
