Project Summary

ClimateWorks Foundation has several related projects that require project support. These include assisting in a cost and pricing analysis project. The Business Planning Analyst will assist the project team in updating and using a variety of excel and analytic tools, preparing scenario analyses, and creating presentation materials to support the modeling work. In addition, the individual will support other related projects with business process and administrative support. Reporting to the VP Systems & Planning, this person works in close partnership with the ClimateWorks finance and planning teams, as well as with all departments to collect information and support analyses. 

Project Duties and Responsibilities 

Includes the following and other duties as assigned:

  • Assist to build the excel business model, data collection and analysis, and development of presentation and communications materials
  • Support related projects with business analysis, process analysis and documentation
  • Prepare reports related to the project and analysis
  • Provide general support by scheduling internal and external meetings, maintaining documentation and electronic files, and other administrative duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience as an analyst, research, or database support role, experience working in the environmental field a plus
  •  Proficiency or demonstrated experience using MS Excel - using math, lookup, logical, information, and text functions required
  • Proficiency or demonstrated experience using MS PowerPoint required; experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikSense) preferred
  • Salesforce and Excel VBA experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success in project management, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion, as well as an understanding of confidentiality issues
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collectively as part of a team with colleagues at all levels
