Cascade Public Media (KCTS 9 & Crosscut)
KCTS Television was renamed Cascade Public Media in January, 2016 to reflect the organization’s broader public media focus across television, online and mobile platforms. This followed the organization’s merger with Crosscut.com and its acquisition of What’s Good 206 on December 2, 2015. Cascade Public Media now operates KCTS 9, Crosscut.com, What’s Good 206 (rebranded in 2017 to Spark Public).
KCTS 9 is the largest public television station in the Pacific Northwest, reaching over 2 million homes in Washington and British Columbia. Located in the heart of Seattle at Seattle Center, KCTS 9 enhances the quality of life in our communities by providing meaningful programs that inform, involve, and inspire.
