About Us

Affus Woman Welfare Association (AWWA) is a socio-economic association established for the purpose of improving the social, economic and mental condition of women at the grass roots level. in many areas there is a desperate need to create employment opportunities andenhance the capacity of the most disadvantaged groups to generate income. Poverty is greatest in rural areas. In particular, rural women have extremely limited opportunities for education,training and employment. Awwa organize women into self-help groups to provide a support group, Our non-profit organization conducts such free programs as:: · Skills Training for Economic Empowerment · promotion of decent work through supporting disadvantaged groups’ access to employment · Disability Programme promotes equality of opportunity and treatment for persons with disabilities in vocational rehabilitation, training and employment · alternate livelihood opportunities · Health Awareness Programs · Educational Programs · Vocational training, entrepreneurship development for disabled and orphans · Micro Credit Programs and Self Help Groups to provide poverty stricken families with very small loans (micro credit), which will assists them in engaging in productive activities or to start a small businesses. Our Mission is the Economic and Social Advancement of the poverty stricken and impoverished people of India. We Propose to accomplish this goal through Educational and Vocational training classes, aimed at teaching the impoverished female class to succeed on their own, by teaching them skills and trades, so that they may better fit into the working society. We also provide our trained students with small Micro Loans for the starting of small village businesses. to purchase start up equipment and supplies to get them underway.
