Sister Outsider

Sister Outsider is an organization run by and for young women of color(14-22 years old) who are supporting themselves in the street economies of East Flatbush and Brownsville, Brooklyn. We expand the the educational, activist, creative and economic opportunties available to young women in our communities. We are a non profit that pays living wages with benefits, provides paid training to staff so that anyone who walks through our door can learn whatever she wants to learn to do while working to change the systems that oppress our communities.
