Our Educational Mission: To facilitate innovative, play-based early childhood education promoting interpersonal relationships, equity and inclusion, nature exploration and environmental stewardship.

    About Us

    Apple Playschools is an early education nonprofit providing high-quality care for children ages 6 months to 6 years at our three Ann Arbor locations. Green Apple Garden Playschool specializes in outdoor immersion, while Manzanitas is our Spanish immersion program. We also have Apple Scouts Camp, a nature immersion camp serving school-aged children. We are inspired by the Reggio-Emilia philosophy and use a play-based approach to learning. We are guided by our social justice branches and prioritize anti-bias education. At our Ann Arbor facilities, we are transforming our community through work AND play!
