About Us

The Children's Meetinghouse is a non-profit infant-toddler and preschool program that offers the highest quality educational environment for young children and their families. "TCM" was founded in 1984 to offer programs to families in Concord, Carlisle and many of the surrounding towns. It has a unique affiliation with Middlesex School, a private high school with approximately 300 students, most of whom live on the campus. TCM was originally founded to offer an early childhood program to the faculty's children, many of whom also live on campus. Located in the "farmhouse" across the street from MX School, which was the original MX School in 1901, it offers a warm and unique environment for children. The program runs throughout the school year for a 44 week program and has a talented and creative staff with backgrounds and degrees in early childhood education as well as many years of experience in teaching in a variety of school environments. TCM offers parents flexibility in schedules from part time to fullday options for 2 to 5 days per week. Our philosophy embraces multi age groups in both our infant-toddler program as well as in our preschool. The infant toddler program has a group of 9 children with up to 3 infants(4 mos. - 15 mos.) and 6 toddlers(15 mos - 2.8 mos.)with 3 teachers. The preschool has 20 children from 2 yrs.9mos. - 5 years with 4 teachers. Visit our website to learn more about our philosophy, parent participation and curriculum.
