NEDEAUG IS A VOLUNTEER ORGANIASTION SEEKING FOR INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERS TO COME AND WORK WITH US IN OUR PROJECTS AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER ORGANISATION THAT WE CAN CONTRACT WITH AND EXCHANGE VOLUNTEERS.
– Uganda is in a pivotal position to make contribution to words poverty alleviation at household levels through developing women, youth, street children and orphans by training them in different skills and formal education. Parents of these youth are empowered by this community project. I believe that if this community project is supported with inform nation, capacity building, through teaching them practical skills the lives of men shall be improved.
The rates of deprivation, vulnerability, unemployment and destitution are still very high in certain sections in Ugandan’s society. These sections includes women, youth, street children, orphans, people with disabilities and elderly people. It now apparent to fight poverty among youth we have now to initiate our own work and programmes.
Poverty in not having low income but includes lack of security, poor education, poor health, isolation and powerlessness, toiling with little benefit and lack of information. As stakeholders in poverty alleviation NEDEA- UGANDA has included the youth, children, and adults by training them in different practical skills and offering formal education. Parents of these youth and children are empowered by a pigerly scheme projects for the community.
A community based school call TWINLIGHT CHILDRENS CENTRE has been setup to provide education for children.

Strive through a children centred method that takes the human being as the measure of all things, for a genuine way out the crisis of the educational established. Twinlight orphanage children’s centres Teaching method is comprehensive (age 3-18) and co –educational and although based essentially on Christianity in a liberal sense. It welcomes children from cultural, racial, religious and economic backgrounds.
We also need volunteer teachers from all over the world to come and help us in different disciplines.
In our school, we have many programmes for children, youth, women and elderly.
Currently we have seven classes from Nursery to primary seven with 230 students. 65 of the children at the school are orphans.
Most of the training is provided in eurhythmy (a new art of movement), speech, drama, story telling, painting, drawing and others. We also offer carpentry and tailoring skills.
We are currently sponsored by: NEDEA- UGANDA, a community based organisation.
