About Us

CCDC, INC MAIN FOCUS: CCDC strive to improve the lives of Children affected by conflict and those living in extreme difficult circumstances (especially Orphans, abandoned, wayward and drugs/alcohol abuse teenagers and other extreme vulnerable children) by closely working with them through community based rehabilitation programs. The organization currently runs three programs as shown below:

ORPHANAGE The Orphanage is presently catering to 45 orphans and abandoned Children who received both formal and informal education. They are also provided life skills training.

AGRICULTURE AND LIVILHOOD: Agriculture program deals with animal husbandry vegetable production, the income generated from its sales are used to sustain the Orphanage and the Community School.

COMMUNITY BASED REHIBILITATION PROGRAM The Community Based Rehabilitation program has two components: (CBR ad the School)

•The CBR caters to 235 disabled children with in the Gardnersville community; the centres provide food and non-food items and psychosocial support to the children through community outreach workers.

•The School has an enrolment of over 265 students at present and runs both Kindergarten & Elementary sections that cater to the orphans and community children.
