Colobus Conservation was founded in January 1997 as a not for a profit conservation organization and became registered as a limited company on 5th March 2001. Since that time, the organization evolved at a considerable rate from just a few people working voluntarily, to a well-developed structure with a substantial annual turnover and employing eleven staff members with numerous Kenyan and international volunteers.
Our Goals are to:Volunteer involvement;
Volunteers will be assigned specific duties depending upon individual experience, interest and current openings. These will include primate welfare/rescue, primate orphan care & rehabilitation, community outreach, conservation education, human/primate conflict management, reforestation/forest protection, research, primate pest, and waste management.
